With more than 1437 faculty members distributed over 16 scientific departments and specialized centers, the University of Technology (UoT) is leading the science and technology institutions in our region. Upon on, thinking in developing and enhancing the UOT's international ranking and overseas reputation has been a crucial need to meet future goals.
Therefore, a new strategy has been planned based on revolutionary concepts of collaborative work, sharing ideas, and exchanging experiences.
One of the keys to achieving these goals is establishing the International Consulting Board, the first-ever among the Iraqi Universities. The board is formatted to comprise a group of Iraqi pioneer professors who occupy positions and hold academic experience in first-class overseas Universities; and its responsibilities will be focused on giving advice, suggestions, and plans to improve the UoT academic, research, and postgraduate programs.

Therefore, the board's responsibilities will be focused on giving advice, suggestions, and plans to enhance and improve the University of Technology’s academic curriculums, research works, and postgraduate programs.
